FDC records cover felony offenders sentenced to state prison or state supervision and do not include county jail or county probation. Always verify with the responsible office before visiting, sending money, relying on custody status, or making decisions.

Different Systems Mean Different Records
County jail rosters can show recent arrests and local custody. FDC records cover state prison and state supervision. BOP covers federal custody. ICE ODLS covers ICE custody and CBP custody after the applicable threshold. VINELink is useful for notifications but is not a full booking-record archive. Clerk records show case events, but jail booking charges and filed court charges can differ. An arrest is not a conviction.
